Goals:
I am a current student at Community College of Allegheny County and a member of Phi Theta Kappa. I plan to earn an associate degree in Psychology and a certificate in Business Management. I also want to continue my education at CCAC and earn certificates in E-commerce and Web Design. In the long-term, my goal is to earn a doctorate degree in Psychology. I have too many educational interests to list. My graduation goal at CCAC is May of 2006. Part of my academic goal is to graduate from CCAC with highest honors, which requires a 3.9 GPA or above. Objective:
I am interested in temporary/part-time employment or internships in any field
related to Psychology, Business, Computers, Social Work, Photography, Art, Music, or
Communications.
Education:
I have earned a total of 72 credits at Community College of Allegheny County and maintained a
4.0 GPA. My expected graduation date at CCAC is May of 2006.
Awards
Received:
I have been on the Dean's List at CCAC since I began my education in the fall
semester of 2001. As a member of Phi Theta Kappa, I am also on the National Dean's
List.
Work
Experience:
I have been a stay-at-home mom for the past six years. My experience with this
includes multi-tasking, childcare, financial management, inventory, and
volunteer activities which include leadership, fund-raising, and
counseling.
Additional
Skills:
My computer skills include proficiency in Word; a working knowledge of Excel, Access, and FrontPage; and familiarity with PowerPoint and Publisher. I also have a
working knowledge of most photo editing software. Other skills include
communication, leadership, and time-management skills.
Hobbies/Interests:
I enjoy spending time with my children, taking
walks, playing sports (whenever I get the chance), surfing the net, and amateur
photography and digital imagery. I also like to watch movies, play cards and
board games, and listen to a variety of music.
